  • Services: Website development, design, maintenance, SEO services, and any other digital services offered by Choldhon.
  • Client: The individual or business entity purchasing services from Choldhon.
  • Contract: The formal agreement between Choldhon and the Client, detailing the scope of work, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms.
  • Deposit: The initial non-refundable payment made by the Client to commence work on a project.

3. Project Cancellation

3.1 Cancellation by Client

If a Client wishes to cancel a project after signing the contract and paying the deposit, the following terms apply:

  • Prior to Project Commencement: If cancellation occurs before we begin work (within 48 hours of contract signing), the deposit will be refunded minus an administrative fee of £150.
  • During Initial Design Phase: If cancellation occurs during the initial design phase (before design approval), 50% of the deposit will be retained to cover work already completed.
  • After Design Approval: If cancellation occurs after design approval but before development completion, the deposit is non-refundable, and payment for any completed work will be due as per the payment schedule.
  • After Project Completion: No refunds will be issued after project completion and delivery.

3.2 Cancellation by Choldhon

Choldhon reserves the right to cancel a project under the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment or consistently late payments by the Client.
  • Lack of required cooperation or communication from the Client that impedes project progress.
  • Requests that violate our Terms of Service, ethical standards, or applicable laws.

In case of cancellation by Choldhon, we will provide a detailed explanation and, depending on the circumstances, may offer a partial refund for work not yet completed.

4. Refunds and Payment Policies

4.1 Deposit and Payment Schedule

Our standard payment structure typically includes:

  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 30-50% of the total project cost) to secure your place in our schedule and begin work.
  • Progress payments at key project milestones.
  • Final payment upon project completion before the website goes live.

4.2 Refund Conditions

Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Failure on our part to deliver the agreed-upon services within the specified timeframe (subject to client cooperation and timely feedback).
  • Significant and demonstrable deviation from the agreed project specifications that we cannot or will not rectify.
  • Early project cancellation as outlined in Section 3.1.

4.3 Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Contact us in writing at info@choldhon.world with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include your project details, reason for requesting a refund, and any supporting documentation.
  3. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 business days using the original payment method.

5. Project Modifications

We understand that requirements may change during a project. Our policy regarding modifications is as follows:

  • Minor Revisions: A reasonable number of minor revisions are included in our project pricing, as specified in your contract.
  • Major Changes: Significant changes to the project scope, design direction, or functionality after approval may incur additional charges and extend the project timeline.
  • Change Request Process: All modification requests should be submitted in writing. We will assess the impact on the project timeline and cost before proceeding.

6. Maintenance and Support Plans

6.1 Cancellation of Ongoing Services

For ongoing maintenance, hosting, or support services:

  • Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice.
  • Annual plans can be cancelled with 60 days' written notice before the renewal date.
  • No refunds are provided for the remaining period of a prepaid service term.

6.2 Service Guarantees

If we fail to meet our service level agreements for maintenance or support services, we offer:

  • Credits toward future service periods.
  • Complimentary additional services to compensate for the shortfall.
  • In cases of severe service disruption, partial refunds may be considered at our discretion.
